NOTHING TO HANG ON TO
City streets can be roughest when you’re young, poor, alone…and female. Scars often come too fast and cut too deep, many festering for a lifetime. One dull, gray morning, I met this accordion player, said thanks for the picture, placed some money in her basket, glanced into her empty eyes, and silently prayed she would make happier music one day.
